| The screen output in DoT is garbled in Mushclient, anyone know if this is a setting I need to address?
Looks like this;
14,00darkness around you without any trace of edges or shadow.
14,00 There is a "No Tipping" notice pinned to the darkness.
14,00
14,00[Exits: none]
I'm prolly a big dope, but can anyone help me with this?

| I'm not sure what you have done here. :) I used MUSHclient for all the screen shots in the DoT section here, and have never had that problem.
Have you made your own changes to the code *grin* ? |

| There are two major possibilities here:
- MUSHclient is taking good output and turning it into garbage - unlikely since it never does that usually :)
- The MUD is outputtting garbage, that MUSHclient is faithfully reproducing
Try this:
- A different client - telnet even - see if it still does it
- Try turning off MXP in MUSHclient, to see if it is MXP related
- Once you have connected, in MUSHclient turn on Packet Debug (Edit menu) and examine the output (ie. type LOOK then). See if the funny numbers are in the packet debug window. If so, then MUSHclient is getting them from DoT.

| You are connecting to the IRC port of the mud... this port sends all colour codes to you in IRC format (instead of ANSI format). Reduce the port number you are using by one to use the normal port number.
