I could not download this software.
I could get a file called
WeaveDraft 1.1 ƒ.sea
When I tried to open that, I received a message that the file was corrupted and could not be opened. It was only 44 KB. Do you think that the problem is on my end or is there, indeed, a problem with the file?
thx,
jp

So WeaveDraft is like a 20 year old program. Your computer is too new. Do you plan to use a classic mac emulator?

Oh . . . that is old. I have not given use of an emulator any thought. Is that a realistic and practical solution or shall I drag out my old desktop PC and download the PC version of the software?

The last time I tried using classic software inside of a classic mac emulator (like Basilisk II), it was quite frustrating. Microsoft has been much better about preserving functionality of older software than Apple has. They also now have free temporary Windows virtual machines for people to try out software on. You can download them from https://www.modern.ie/en-us/virtualization-tools#downloads and run it in VirtualBox. That should run on your mac without needing to pull anything out of storage.
