I’ve been an avid PC and Weaver on my MUD for quite some time, and try as I might I cant seem to get a straight answer on exactly –how- the damage is calculated in combat. I’ve searched up/down left and right, but to no avail (Flames welcome) At any rate, I seem to get the basic idea of how it works, but any webpage any of you might know that explains it would be of great help.

I'm not sure what you mean - it's all in fight.c, the damage is calculated both in one_hit() (or whatever it's called) and then modified in the damage() function. Where are the holes in what you see?
