Hi !!!

One months ago i was a account in a machine that use telnet.(school). I played the game MUD´s from there because i am at the computers that are at a LAN. But now there is a problem, the administrator put the end of telnet, and can only now use connection SSH. I tried to use some MUD clients but they dont support SSH.

There is any way to connect via SSH wit ha mud client??

(Sorry for my english, i from Portugal)

I do what it says but i cant do it.

My stunnel.conf is like this

client = yes
output = logfile.txt

[name]
connect = name.com:23 // this is my account in UNIX or the server of mud?
accept = localhost:5555

the "name" is a reference. I dont want to make pub.

What is wrong? only appear a message in the MushClient

"--- Connected on Friday, February 20, 2004, 2:03 PM ---"

Maybe the port "5555" is wrong i dont know

connect = mud_name:port

Connect is where it connects to, thus the MUD name, and the MUD's port number.

Hopefully it goes without saying that this MUD would need to support SSH, otherwise using SSH is no use.

accept = localhost:5555

This is what *you* connect to with MUSHclient. Thus you need to connect to localhost:5555 - this will "tunnel" through to mud:port.

Make sure you have the stunnel.exe running as described in the documentation.

Now i understand, the problem is that this only connect to a server that use SSH, sorry i was confused.

I need to connect to the mud server that are behind a firewall, that is the real problem. I have tried software to bypass the firewall, but i cant . I must give up :(
