I'm using MUSHclient version 4.90 on a Windows 7 machine, playing Simutronics' Modus Operandi. If I mark the "Auto-wrap to window size" checkbox on the World Details > Appearance > Output screen, the wrap break occurs in the middle of words.

For example:

In the narrow field surrounded by silver birch trees, a blanket of yellow celandines lays thick upon the ground. Purple and whit
e crocus blossoms bob their heads over a thin creek curling through the field. Shafts of delicious sunlight streak through the t
ransparent leaves of the birches, and brightly glint upon the water as it peaks atop rocks lying in the creek bed. Overhead, bir
ds fly in lazy circles and light on branches, their chirping voices filling the field with lilting song.

Can MUSHclient be set to wrap long lines properly at word boundaries?

Check the box "Wrap output at column number".

What that really means is "wrap at the nearest space".

Ah, yes. That worked as you and the help file say. Thank you, Nick.
