| Mushclient is running fine on my Windows 7 machine. I bought a new Win10 computer and I can't get triggers to play sounds. I'm wondering if this is because Win10 uses Groove? If I uninstall Groove will this fix my problem? I've tried both Mush 4.94 and 5.03. | Top |

| I am not familiar with Groove, so I can't say.
However only certain sound files can be played, especially using the Sound function (which is also used by triggers). See:
http://www.gammon.com.au/scripts/doc.php?function=Sound
Also, you might need to check that you gave a full pathname to that sound, or placed it into the "sounds" folder, in which case you don't need the full pathname.
Try entering scripting Immediate window (Ctrl+I) and typing this and then Run:
check (PlaySound (0, "YOURFILENAME.wav"))
The error message you get (if any) may help narrow down the problem. |
