This is most likely not a bug in SMAUG but an error in your set up of the deity files. Make sure that the given deities actually HAVE avatars and objects.

what do you need to do to make the avatars and objects? I thought maybe a mobile for the Avatar but i don't know how to set it up so it will supp it.

Read the help files... the command should be setdeity or something. So read "help setdeity".

You need to create a mobile and an object, and then set those vnums using setdeity (or whatever the command is.)
