I want to add names to the list of illegal names at the login screen when people are trying to create new chars and I don't know what file it is. Could someone tell me where it is located? :p

There's a function called check_parse_name or something like that in comm.c.

Or you could just use the reserve command. Reserve <name> and it makes it illegal. See help reserve on how to use wildcards in it also.
