I'm sure that this is answered somewhere and I can't find it, but is it possible to change the port for SMAUG in windows without recompiling?

Without recompiling eh? Hm. I'm not very familar with Windows version. Change the port in the startup file. But I don't think that will fix it. You have to change comm.c for the port too.

No, not in the Windows version, because of the way it is written to be installed as a service. You will have to use Cygwin or similar to recompile it.
