| I've read all the material I could find on setting up the deities, and while I have had success in creating a deity (I'll use Akadi) with a description, alignment, race, etc., I have run into some small setbacks.
I can devote to the deity, and I can view the information on the deity, but if I try to supplicate for something, the MUD crashes and I get the following errors in the bug.txt:
[*****] BUG: Create_mobile: NULL pMobIndex.
This when I supplicate for an avatar
[*****] BUG: Create_mobile: NULL pMobIndex.
This is when I supplicate for an object.
When I used the setdeity akadi savatar <toggle> command, what is the toggle? Is it a vnum of the mob or object? Or is the amount of favor required to summon that mob or object? Or is simply a 0 or 1, turning that feature on and off? This is where I think the problem lies.
I tried using the vnum of both an object and a mob in an area but that didn't work. Then I tried using a lower number, such as 1000, thinking it might be a favor value. Still no luck. THen I tried a 1, thinking it to be an 'on' or 'off' switch. No luck again.
Any suggestions?
I'm using the Win32 pre-compiled server under Win98SE.
Thanks,
Gruny
