I'm looking for a free compiler...I tried Cygwin but kept having problems with it. I use download accelerator plus, I tried to download Cygwin with it and when it got done it should have sent it to the My Completed Downloads folder. I went to that folder and all I had was one setup.exe file (Which openned a blank command prompt)...No folders, nothing else. I used IE without DAP to download it..That worked and I got it installed and then when I went to the folder and tried to open it it brought up a command prompt for about 1 millisecond and poof...It disappeared and nothing else happened. Any help with another compiler or something?

You should be able to get Cygwin to install. See this page:

You may have to temporarily disable your download accelerator. The setup.exe file you got is really a manager that handles the bulk of the download.
