I'm using Cygwin, and Smaugfuss 1.9. All the .o files have compiled, but at the end I get this message:

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot find -lz
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [smaug] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

I'm not sure what I'm missing or if I should try to reinstall anything. Any help would be appreciated!

I've already tried installing the package with the setup.exe and it didn't work. It may be the source I'm taking it from, but it hasn't worked yet.
