| I have a big problem,whenever I upload the zip file containing the SWR codebase,sent in binary,unzip it,and try to compile it,it gives me all sorts of problems with slashes and things in the wrong spots.This happens on other computers when i try to upload it from them as well,can you help me with any solutions that could help? | Top |

| Do you mean downloading? Getting the file *to* your computer?
Anyway, problems with slashes and things might be caused by incorrect line terminations, depending on what operating system you are using.
There are some free utilities in my downloads area (see top of this page) that convert to/from Unix and DOS text file formats. |

| No,when I download it and look at the C files,they all look like they should,no problems i can tell by.But then when i use DOS' ftp client to upload the mud code in a zip file to the server,and unzip it there,then try to compile,it tells me it's all messed up by having many things in wrong places and parse errors and such. | Top |

| Still sounds like line endings. Make sure you have ftp in ASCII mode (not binary). |
