| Greetings all. At this time I have completed a small, stand-alone program that will take simple ZMUD triggers and aliases, and convert them to MUSH counterparts. An example file is included, just unzip the file, and click on the ZtoM python file. This program does require python, and Tkinter. Please give it a try and comment or critizce how you see fit.
As a reminder, it will only do Simple Aliases and triggers, not scripting, no variables, nothing of that sort. As well, the items to be converted must be in a plain txt file as of this version, if you've any questions, read the help file included, post here, or Email me.Good luck

| Yes, it is a program written in python. For MUSHclient. But not a plugin.....Thus, MUSHclient>Python. Seemed a reasonable destiation. I really do not know how it works on other systems/Zmud files but if anyone DOES use it, please post a few lines of feedback so I may change/improve it?? Thanks.

| Ahh, didn't know it was written in Python.
Still, seems like tip and tricks or general would have been better so everyone could see it and not just the Python users. | Top |

| I am inclined to agree, that since it is a general tool, and is not related to (internal) Python scripting, it is a generic tip.
I have moved the whole thread to the Tips and Tricks section. |

| I understand that. But your post is not about Python scripting, inside MUSHclient.
Sorry to nit-pick. Sounds like a useful utility for all MUSHclient uers, who choose to install Python. :) |

| No 'Nick'-picking, its alright. :D I just thought of posting first in the python section as it utilizes python. I hope more people are able to use the program, and if you do, find it useful. Again, if you need help or have ideas for a future version, please feel free to post here.

| Greetings, I noticed the link to download this program is dead now. I've got some 350 aliases from zmud (very simple aliases mind you) that I'd like to convert over to MUSH. If anyone's got a copy of this program, please contact me...would be greatly appreciated. | Top |

| If you get no response about that, try the link further up which lets you make an alias which adds aliases.
Failing that, give some examples of what you are trying to convert, it might be easy to write a simple script to do it. |
