Well scratch that other subject that I started I finally got it to work.. Kinda.. I can't use the startup command or startup & or ./startup or csh -f startup & or tcsh startup& everything that I am putting into the Cygwin command line is not working. Yes I am in the area directory. I had to put the rom.exe in the area dir and then type ./rom. This worked and I got the message that ROM is ready to rock on port 9000 but then It did not do anything it just sat there. I had to ctrl+alt+del it to get it to stop. If this makes everything working for ppl to connect then what do I do to connect?

Something tells me you will soon hit another problem. When that occurs search this forum for "port forwarding".

Or if it doesn't recognise "localhost" connect to 127.0.0.1, port 9000.

That IP address is "this PC" whatever that happens to be.
