I'm starting a new thread because my previous thread was being hijacked with stuff that was unrelated.

If you're content with once-per-reboot, it's easy, just replace mptag with mprenamed balls of light dropped in a storage room.

If you want it to last over reboot, make the storage room a clanstoreroom (which unfortunately requires an actual clan in true STOCK).

Just for clarification, when I said that, I was thinking in terms of an item casting it's spell once and then remaining around for any other affects/uses but with the spell in question now in a "used" capacity. In retrospect, I think that, since it wasn't specified that the item need to remain behind, there's no reason not to simply assign the spell to a potion, scroll, pill, wand/staff (with only one charge), food, etc... there are a bunch of ways to do it easily stock smaug. ;)

Oh, and sorry about the hijacking. :(
