Here's one I don't know if has been mentioned, bug feature..

For some reason when opening a a prior world, the world doesn't always maximize to the full size of the inner window. Is there something I am missing, or something I can check?

At work we use a tracking software that experiences the same trouble. To change it you have to check a box checked called autosize subset.

Anyway just a possible suggestion to have that checkbox in the global preferences.

Have you checked Global Preferences -> General -> Open Worlds Maximized?
