Prompt help

I'm not entirely sure what's going on here, I'm running version 4.43 on Windows 7, I followed the install guide and such. Every time I log in to a world, without putting any aliases or triggers or anything in. Every line begins to start with <PROMPT> and end with </PROMPT> not sure why it is doing that, ( yes it's where Health, Mana, etc. would show up) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've scanned the forums and couldn't see anything that matched this issue

Sounds to me like the MUD is sending that - possibly some other clients use that to distinguish the prompt from other stuff. You can confirm that by going to the Edit menu, turn on Debug Packets, get a couple of prompts, and then turn Debug Packets off again (or that will get very large).

If you see <PROMPT> inside the packet then the MUD is sending it, and you need to configure it not to.

In the game try typing "config prompt" and seeing what your prompt is set to.

It's MXP. Either use the CONFIG MXP OFF command to disable it server-side, or enable MXP in MUSHclient in Game -> Configure -> MXP/Pueblo.
