$world->

Hello!

Can anybody please explain what it does - when I put "$world->" before function calls?
Can I omit it without consequences?
What are other options?

Well, do you know what "->" means in perl?

No I dont, I somehow managed to write my scripts without diggin deeply into theories and those are working fine.
Is it something important?

It's been a while since I did this stuff, but I think the $world-> part gives you access to the "world" functions in MUSHclient. Without it they won't work.
