Adding notes to log files

It's wonderful to be able to add a note to the top of the file when you open a log, but sometimes I log for an entire day and the note I set in the morning doesn't apply in the evening when I close it. If it would be possible, it would be great to be able to add a note when you *close* the log as well as when you open it. For me, adding the closing note to the top of the file would be best, but since others might like it at the bottom, maybe where it goes could be an option?

Thanks!

In the "logging" configuration screen you can put a "file postamble" which means, "something put at the end of the file when you close it".

Putting it at the start (when you close the file) is kind of hard, because the file is already written. The only way to do that would be to make a copy of the entire file, which could take a while.
