| Can you suggest a good VB book for me? I am looking for something along the lines of VB for Dummies - lol! When I did a search in Amazon.com - there were over 600 matches. Lots were were for VB 6, but I assume the VB we use for MushClient is VB for applications?
Thanks,

| Actually there are three flavours of Visual Basic:
- Visual Basic standalone (the whole enchilada)
- VB for Applications (VBA) which is used in programs like Word and Excel
- VBscript - the scripting engine supplied for use in third-party applications, and also in client-side scripting
I am using VBscript. The problem with books on VBscript is that they tend to concentrate on the client-side scripting aspect (ie. HTML pages) and not scripting in other environments.
Looking on Amazon, this book looks quite good, and it is by O'Reilly who usually do a good job:
Vbscript in a Nutshell : A Desktop Quick Reference
by Petrusha, Paul Lomax, Matt Childs, Ron Petrusha
Amazon Price: $20.96
Paperback - 495 pages (May 2000)
O'Reilly & Associates; ISBN: 1565927206
