ok any one know all the ports swr fote fuss uses. if not how about smaug? I opened port 4000 and no one can connect. I imagine it uses more than one. ya think?

Do a search for port. I think it's normally stored in the startup script.

The only port it really uses is just one. If you open the port that it's running on, but no one can connect, it's most likely a router/firewall issue. Do a search here if it is.

I actually opened them up on the fire wall. is there some where else I should open them up on?

When you say you "opened" them, did you set up port forwarding? You need to do that. Search this forum for those words for more information.

Yes I set up port fowarding for my router. any where else I need to do it?

You need to make sure that whoever is trying to connect has the right IP and port.

Do a test on the port to see if it's open.
