| Hi, Nick!
I'm trying to compile the 4.40 source (because something I scripted is causing the whole client to hang, so I want to try and debug it), and I have no idea where to get codecs.h. Tried installing the latest DirectX SDK, but that doesn't have it. Do I need an older version of DirectX or some other SDK?
Thanks. | | Top |

| I assume you have Visual Studio installed? You need that for the MFC libraries.
I found codecs.h as part of the install, in Microsoft Visual Studio -> VC98 -> Include.

| | I'm using Visual Studio 2005, and I don't have codecs.h. Maybe I just didn't install some optional part? | | Top |

| Remove the line that includes codecs.h
I got it to compile without it. :) |
