Well, I thought the installation was a success. However, I seem to have a problem. Any new player that logs on the mud that has ansi configured can't see anything. I've looked at bits, all rooms I've tried have light 1, sector 1, and they aren't blind. Also, they can see the color white, but thats it. However, immortals seem to see color fine, even if they don't have holy light mode on.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Does FUSS have samsons color snippet installed? I assume it does. So, are they receicing the characters, but the colors are wrong? To test this, you select a bunch of text and try to copy and paste it, this might narrow it down. If they are receiving it, than its a matter that the colors codes are not being passed properly. If not, then you can look at the output functions. Basically, since it works in stock, what is it that youve added to do with color?

It does have Samson's color code installed. I haven't changed anything due to the color, and the characters are there, thus you could copy and paste, so I guess they codes are being read wrong. What would you suggest?

Ok, I can think of some things to test: replace the functions from samson's webpage to see if that fixes it. What if ansi is turned off? Try those and let us know.
