Excuse me for putting this as a new post; I'm _sure_ that someone has already answered this question, probably many people many times, but for the life of me I can't find it.

I am trying to add a couple new weapon types and associated proficiencies to SMAUG (axe, spear, ...). How can this be done? (in case it matters, I'm using SMAUGFUSS 1.7)

Sorry to be such a newb, but the size of this codebase kind of overwhelms me... I'm used to working with SocketMUD :)

Have you looked into the weapon snippet on AFKMUD's snippet site? That basically is a guide on how to add new ones.
